(Limerick, PA) Calling all barbecue fans! Dickey’s Barbecue in Limerick is celebrating its grand opening on Friday, April 12 at 301 North Lewis Road. The barbecue restaurant will celebrate with $1 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches and a special appearance by Roland Dickey, Sr., the chairman of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc.

“We’re honored to have Roland Dickey, a Texas Barbecue King, at our grand opening,” said franchise owner Dan Butler, who operates this location with his business partner Matthew Disharoon. “We’ve had a tremendous response to our authentic barbecue in the Limerick community.”

At Friday’s event, Dickey’s will be serving $1 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the help of 92.5 XTU. Also, Mr. Dickey will be on-site giving away 50 copies of his new cookbook, “Mr. Dickey’s Barbecue Cookbook,” which features mouthwatering family recipes and colorful anecdotes.

“Dickey's Barbecue is really gaining traction in Pennsylvania,” said Roland Dickey, Jr., president and CEO of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “The state has many great sites available for potential franchise owners so we’re excited to expand our authentic barbecue brand.”

This new barbecue restaurant is located off of Lewis Road, near Amelia’s Grocery Outlet. The store phone number is 484-791-3452. Dickey’s also has locations in Bethlehem and Wescosville.

Don’t forget, you can only enjoy Miss Ollie’s famous tea at Dickey’s. Its crisp and captivating blend is full of flavor. Its ingredients compliment Dickey’s slow smoked barbecue and homemade sides.
