How can I find your menu online?

Since our menus vary by location, you must first find your nearest location. To do that, click on “Order Menu”. This takes you to a map where you can search for your nearest location. Then choose pickup or delivery or curbside to access the menu. That’s where you can see pricing and start ordering.


What should I do if I didn’t receive my confirmation e-mail after I placed my online order?

Call the restaurant and let them know you didn’t receive a confirmation email. They will ask specific order information to help locate the order and further assist you.


What if my delivery order is inaccurate?

Are there additional delivery costs?

Currently, Dickey’s is not charging a delivery fee for orders placed through our website or app. However, if this changes, a fee will be notated in your order during online checkout.

If you ordered from a delivery company’s app, fees can vary by company and will be listed on their platform. Many restaurants will run promotions or offer Free Delivery which will be clearly notated on the delivery company’s app or website.


Can I schedule my delivery time for later?

If you ordered from Dickeys.com or the Dickey’s app, yes, you can schedule a delivery time in advance if you wish.

If you ordered from a delivery company’s app this will vary by delivery company. However, many allow you to schedule deliveries for later.


Can I change my order after it has been submitted?

Unfortunately, orders placed on our website or app cannot be changed after submitted.

If you ordered from a delivery company’s app, an order can be changed after it has been placed. Please reach out to the delivery company’s support team and they will be able to assist you. Please note that this may incur an additional fee, depending on where the order is in the fulfillment process.


Can I cancel my delivery after I’ve submitted my order?

Unfortunately, orders placed on our website or app cannot be canceled after submitted.

If you ordered from a delivery company’s app, you may be able to cancel your order. Please contact the delivery company’s support team. They can determine if the order can be canceled based on an order’s status, and they will be able to advise you.

Gift Cards can also be purchased in various US retail outlets including Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Lowes, CVS, and Rite Aid. How can I check my gift card balance?

What do I do if my gift card is lost or stolen?

We can replace the remaining balance on a lost or stolen gift card as long as you have the original purchase receipt. Please email giftcards@dickeys.com for assistance.

How does the Big Yellow Cup Rewards program work?

Once you create an account on the Dickey’s app or at Dickeys.com , you can start earning points with every order. When you have accrued enough points, you can redeem them for FREE Barbecue by shopping for a variety of rewards at our loyalty store.


Do I need to have a smartphone to participate?

Do I get anything just for signing up?

Can I get loyalty points for my catering orders?

Yes! For convenience it is recommended to order through the app or Dickeys.com, but you also have the option to get your points by uploading your receipt through the Dickey’s app.

What size and types of events do you cater?

We cater any size, and anytime, for groups of 10 or more. This includes anything from office meetings to special occasion events. For groups smaller than 10 we have plenty of options on our daily order menu as well.


How can I place my catering order?

How far in advance should I place my catering order?

Delivery and pick-up times fill up on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you are placing your order within 72 hours of the event date, call your local store directly or 866-BARBECUE (866-227-2328)

*Note: For Full-Service events around the holidays, or orders for over 100 guests, a 4-8 week notice minimum is advised.


Do you offer individually packaged meals?

Yes, our box meals are a great option for catering, and we are now offering the option for individually packaged buffet meals.


Do you offer full-service catering with staff?

Yes, we offer full-service buffet service for groups of 100 or more. We provide up to 2 servers per 100 guests, who help to set-up, serve, and breakdown the buffet. The total staff and number of service lines is dependent on the style and size of the event. Additional staff may also be brought in to serve at dessert and beverage stations. Let us know what your event needs are, and our catering experts will work to ensure a successful event.


Can I customize a catering order?

Yes. Our catering experts customize menus to fit the style and guest expectations of your event. We also work with personal dietary and budgetary restrictions. Whether it be custom party platters for small plate reception or adding on appetizers and late-night bites for a party, we have flexible add-on solutions for your event.


Do you have any vegetarian or gluten friendly options?

Vegetarian options include our Mac & Cheese, Cabbage Slaw, Potato Salad, Caesar Salad (Dressing is served on the side), Creamed Spinach as well as Chips. Salads and Giant Stuffed Bakers are available at participating locations. A Giant Baker is a baked potato topped with your choice of condiments on the side (choose from cheese, chives, sour cream, butter, and barbecue sauce). We can separately box this in place of the meat portion for vegetarians.

Gluten-Friendly options: The following items are not guaranteed to be gluten free because cross-contact with allergens can occur: Slow-smoked meats, Barbecue Beans, Baked Potato Casserole, Green Beans with Bacon, Tacos prepared with a corn tortilla, and Cabbage Slaw. If you are gluten sensitive, we recommend you review the list of suggested menu items with a qualified medical professional prior to consumption.

Disclaimer: Although we make every effort to separate ingredients during production and on our serving line, Dickey’s is unable to guarantee absence of specific ingredients due to the possibility of cross-contamination during the preparation of menu items. Some seasonings use proprietary blends and therefore all ingredients may not be listed. For any dietary concerns, please consult with a qualified medical professional prior to consumption.


How much meat do you recommend for a group?

We recommend one pound per every 3 guests, which is 1/3 lb. per person on average. For example, 30 guest we would recommend 10 pounds of meat.


How many people do your XL sides feed?

An XL side feeds 20 to 25 people. For smaller groups try our large or medium sides.


What are your portion sizes for your buffet?

We provide approximately a third pound of meat per person (5.33 oz.) total.
If your order includes ribs, we provide approximately 2 bones per person. For side dishes, we include approximately 4 oz. per side. We also include a buttery roll (per person) and a relish tray.


What is on the relish tray?

Do catering order include desserts? Beverages?

Our sandwich box lunches do include a chocolate chunk cookie. Desserts and drinks may be added to any order.


Do I need to supply my own plates, forks, and napkins when I order catering?

We provide all serving utensils (spoons and tongs), eating utensil packs (fork, knife, spoon napkin and salt/pepper packets), as well as plates.


Does my catering come with heating elements?

It depends on the type of catering service ordered. All things catered are delivered in equipment made to keep food hot in transit.

Boxed Lunches & Delivery Buffet: We will deliver your food and have it set up about 15 minutes prior to your food service time. If you plan on having the food sit out for longer than an hour (i.e., an open house, graduation party, or wedding), contact our catering experts for recommendations. Please note that we do not provide wire racks for catering pans for box lunches.


What size are the pans?

We deliver our food in half pans: 11 ¾” x 9 ⅜” x 2 9/16”. Two half pans fit in a full-size pan supported by a wire rack. Full size pans: 20” x 12 3/16” x 3 ⅜”. Please note that our pans do fit into standard wire chaffing dishes.

When do I finalize my guest count?

10 days out, we will want your final guest count and we can adjust the final balance at that time if needed. We will still have a little wiggle room for last minute increases a few days before the event, but this will allow our team to prepare accordingly.


Do you honor tax exemptions?

Yes, to place an order with a tax exemption please call 866-Barbecue (227-2328) or your local Dickey’s. When placing the catering order, please provide your tax-exempt ID.


Do I have to pay in advance for a catering order?

Full payment is required for orders up to $500 to reserve your event date and time. For orders over $500, a deposit of 50% is required at time of booking the reservation. The remaining 50% is due on or before date of event.


When is the remaining balance due if I only pay 50% up front?

The final balance will be due prior to, or on the event day. Typically, we charge the same credit card used for the deposit unless notified otherwise.


What type of payments do you accept for catering orders?

We accept all major credit cards and cash. If you are with a company and would like to pay with a check, PO, invoice, or have a house account, please contact your local Dickey’s to review details of the payment option.
