Dickey’s Barbecue Pit was found back in 1941 in Dallas, Texas. Our founder, Travis Dickey, started with a limited menu and a passion for barbecue. Mr. Dickey and his wife successfully operated their first ever location and expanded across DFW. Dickeys began to franchise their restaurant all over the nation. Now we have over 500 locations spread from coast to coast. We have Dickey’s opened and in business in over 44 states, and across the world in countries like Japan, Canada, Dubai, and more.
