National Pulled Pork Day.
Never heard of it?
Good reason. It started last year. So maybe you didn't pig out because you didn't know you could.
The second porkfest is Thursday, and Dickey's Barbecue Pit is celebrating with $2 pulled pork sandwiches all day. There is a Dickey's in Abilene, located at the corner of Hog and Wild. OK, at the corner of South 14th and South Clack streets. Sandwiches will be served 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Dickey's invites customer to watch staff "grab, squish and tickle" the pulled pork before they eat. Maybe. Maybe not.
$2 sandwiches Thursday.
That's eatin' cheap.
