Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants has added a new revenue stream by finalizing agreements with several delivery service partners, including Dine On Demand, DoorDash, DoorstepDelivery, Food Dudes Delivery, and Postmates. Additionally, Dickey’s has joined the catering marketplace, ezCater.
This new revenue channel adds to the company’s existing five revenue-generating streams: dine-in, catering, meal replacement (online ordering, drive-thru, and carry-out), retail (both in-store and through grocery store partners), and holiday meals. These streams have been essential to the chain’s success, according to CEO Roland Dickey Jr.
“We selected a variety of delivery service providers for our store markets to give our guests the opportunity to choose the delivery option they are most comfortable with,” said Dickey. “We’re currently testing numerous delivery vendors at our corporately-owned locations to ensure we’re using only the best service providers. Our guests love quick delivery, and it’s been a great way to demonstrate a vital growth opportunity while maintaining the quality of our food. We look forward to the revenue growth this channel will bring to the Dickey’s brand.”
Dickey’s currently has over 520 units across 43 states and plans to add 178 new stores from California to Florida.
