Houston Chronicle: Dickey's sausage now available at Kroger

North Texas-based Dickey's
Barbecue Pit has begun selling smoked sausage at some Kroger stores in
the Houston area.
The chain, which has nearly 600
restaurant locations in 44 states, introduced its line of sausages at Kroger
stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth market earlier this year.
"We have enjoyed a
successful partnership with Kroger in our hometown of DFW and are excited to
expand into the Houston market with them," Renee Roozen,
president of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants,
said in an announcement.
Travis Dickey founded
the company in 1941.
