Dickey's Barbeque Pit cooked up a smoked whole turkey on News 4 Tucson on Friday. Here's the recipe.


Name of Dish: Smoked Whole Turkey


Ingredients:


11-12 lb whole turkey thawed


Preparation Instructions:


Remove all plastic from your raw turkey.


Smoke at 240 degrees breast side up in smoker on top of greased grate. Smoke until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Plan for 6 or more hours. Leave lid on entire time, no peaking.
