It's no trick, you can get free food on Halloween.

Restaurants and stores are offering freebies or other discounts on the holiday -- primarily for those dressed in costume.

Here are just some of the deals on offer that we found.

Free photo, crafts and candy at Bass Pro Shops. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. the folks at many Bass Pro Shops will be giving kids a free 4X6 photo with the crew from Peanuts and working with them on a craft. Trick or treating begins at 5 p.m. and there is a costume parade at 6 p.m.

Free Bojangles Bo-Berry Biscuit at Bojangles. Nab a free Bo-Berry Biscuit with the purchase of any kid's meal if your kid (12 and under) is in costume. This is for dine-in customers only.

Free custard at BurgerFi. Participating locations will give out a free frozen custard for those who come to the restaurant in costume.

$3 burrito at Chipotle. Starting at 3 p.m., you can score a $3 burrito, bowl, salad or order of tacos for $3 -- you just have to be in costume.

Free tickets at Chuck E. Cheese. Take your costumed kid to Chuck E. Cheese to get 50 free tickets.

Free kid's buffet meal at Cicis. If your kid is in costume, their meal will be free with the purchase of an adult buffet and regular size drink.


Free food for kids at Dickey's Barbecue Pit. Participating locations will be letting kids 12 and younger, who are wearing costumes, eat for free from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Free Scary Face Pancake at IHOP. Kids 12 and younger will receive a scary face pancake (a pancake decorated with strawberries, whipped cream, mini Oreos and candy corn).

Free donut at Krispy Kreme. Come to the donut shop with your costume on to get a free donut of your choice. You can also score a glow-in-the-dark bucket when you buy 24 donut holes.

Free meal for kids at Miller's Ale House. Kids 12 and younger will eat for free with the purchase of an adult meal.

Free kid's meal at Noodles and Company. Buy a regular-sized entree and your kid will get a free kid's meal at Noodles and Company.

Free meal for kids at Old Country Buffet. Kids 11 and younger will eat free on Halloween at Country Buffet -- provided they're in costume and accompanied by a regular-priced paying adult.

Free dirt cup at Outback Steakhouse. Kids will receive this sweet treat with the purchase of any Joey Menu entree.

Free food for kids at Ryan's. Kids who are 11 and younger, and in costume, will eat for free on Halloween, provided they're accompanied by a regular-priced paying adult.


Free trick or treat bag at Shoney's. While supplies last, Shoney's will be handing out trick-or-treat bags to kids.

50 cent corn dogs at Sonic. Corn dogs for less than a $1. Happy Halloween!
