Over 8 decades ago in 1941, Mr. Dickey and his wife ollie Dickey opened up their very first barbecue restaurant in Dallas, Texas. The cafeteria style restaurant had a limited menu but was definitely a hit. With great success, our BBQ concept rapidly spread across the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex and around the world. What started off as just a small local cafeteria, is now the world’s largest barbecue restaurant franchise in the world.
