Dickey’s Barbecue Grows with Ghost Kitchens for Convenience

Engines will roar and grills will smoke at the 3rd Annual Great American Car, Bike & Truck Show, taking place on **Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.** at Whiting Town Center, 108 Lacey Rd Suite 1A, Whiting, NJ. Sponsored by Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, the event has become a summer highlight in Ocean County, drawing crowds of auto enthusiasts and families alike. 

Last year’s show saw **over 250 cars** on display, and organizers expect even more vehicles this year as classic and modern rides compete for top honors. “This event is a celebration of community, craftsmanship, and a shared passion for cars, bikes, and trucks,” said **Gary Mulligan**, [Dickey’s Barbecue Pit](https://programminginsider.com/how-dickeys-barbecue-pit-selects-successful-owner-operators/) franchisee and proud local sponsor. “It brings people together in a fun way and adds flavor to the neighborhood, both literally and figuratively.”

*Grant presentation to be held August 22 at North Branch PD with food provided by local Dickey’s Barbecue Pit*
 

The Dickey Foundation, the charitable arm of Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, is proud to announce a $10,000 grant to the North Branch Police Department to support the purchase of two state-of-the-art electric bicycles (e-bikes). The official grant presentation will take place on **Friday, August 22 at 11:30 a.m.** at the North Branch Police Department. The event will include food catered by the local [Dickey’s Barbecue Pit](https://itsreleased.co.uk/building-a-dickeys-barbecue-pit-construction-costs-and-the-path-to-opening-day/).
 

The grant is part of The Dickey Foundation’s ongoing mission to provide safety equipment and support to first responders across the country. “These e-bikes are more than just a mode of transportation. They’re a tool that enhances community policing, increases patrol flexibility, and boosts officer safety,” said **Maurine Dickey, Executive Director of The Dickey Foundation**. “We’re honored to support the North Branch Police Department in their efforts to serve and protect.”

Celebrate Sandwich Month with Dickey’s Buffet & Deals

*Foundation leaders, local Dickey’s owner, and community members came together to celebrate first responders on July 22, 2025* 

[The Dickey Foundation](https://www.thedickeyfoundation.org/), the charitable arm of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, visited the Chillicothe Fire Department on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, to present a $10,000 grant for a new Forcible Entry Door at the department’s training facility. The grant presentation, held at **54 E Water St, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601**, was followed by a barbecue lunch provided by local Dickey’s Barbecue Pit owner/operator **Shawn Bower**. 

“Supporting first responders is at the heart of our mission,” said **Maurine Dickey, Executive Director of The Dickey Foundation**. “The Chillicothe Fire Department’s dedication to safety and training truly inspires us, and we were honored to provide the tools they need to better protect their community.” 

The Forcible Entry Door will give firefighters a safe, controlled way to practice critical emergency response skills.
