We are located on Northwest Gilman Blvd, in between The Wine Cellar Outlet and C2 Education. Visit our hot pit barbecue joint to experience all thing Texas, right here in Washington. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit was first found in Texas, in the city of Dallas. Our first grand opening location was found back in 1941! Yes, we know. It really has been over 80 years since our legacy was born. We must be doing something right, considering we are still up and running for 8 decades. What started off as a city BBQ cafeteria, has now become the world largest BBQ concept restaurant franchise!
We often get asked how we did it? We often break it down to just 3 words. Rubbed, smoked, and hand crafted. We spent decades perfecting out BBQ menu from our house made dry rubs, to our hickory wood burning smoke pit, to even our smoking methods. You poke 'em, we will be the ones to smoke 'em, so you don’t have to. Every pitmaster in our franchise has been trained to follow our exact same recipes and guidelines to provide you with the best possible Texas style barbecue to match the ones found decades ago.
