Dickey’s Barbecue Pit franchisees delivered free barbecue to thousands of teachers and staff nationwide during teacher in-service days to express appreciation for their dedication to the youth of their community. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit takes pride in giving back to their local area and delivering lunches to teachers is just one small way to show folks how much Dickey’s cares about the community.
“We are proud to serve our slow-smoked barbecue to the folks in our communities that give so much to us,” says Laura Rea Dickey, CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “Seeing the joy on the teachers’ faces made me incredibly proud to be a leader of such an amazing brand.”
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit locations delivered pulled pork sandwiches, chips and tea for every teacher and staff member at schools nationwide. Dickey’s barbecue is always pit smoked on-site daily, but now the famous brisket and other well-known menu items can be delivered hot and fresh to the guests’ door.
Guests can order Dickey’s delivery on dickeys.com, the Dickey’s App or from third party delivery services such as GrubHub, DoorDash or UberEats.
