Fast Casual: Dickey's Barbecue brought to Florida by local entrepreneur

Franchisee Peter Juris, is opening a Dickey's Barbecue Pit location in Aventura, Florida this fall, according to a press release.
"I have been involved with meat and meat processing all my life," Juris said in the release. Before he moved to the United States he owned the largest meat processing plant in Ecuador. "I love barbecue and wanted to bring it to Florida. It is not as well known here, and I want to show people that Dickey's is the best option."
Juris has plans to open more Dickey's Barbecue Pit locations in North Miami and Fort Lauderdale, and is ready to expand the brand to as many Floridians as he can.
Founded in 1941, the brand has more than 550 locations in 45 states.
