Fast Casual: Dickey's Barbecue landing in Bowie, Texas

A Dickey’s Barbecue will open in Bowie, Texas, by year's end, launched by Luke and Ashley Bates.

The couple are experienced franchise operators, having previously run a taco concept in the local area. After researching Dickey's, they determined it was a perfect fit for their hometown, according to a press release.

"Our restaurant concepts truly are about giving back to the community that has given so much to us over the years," said Luke Bates in the press release. "We are excited to have the opportunity to serve the residents of Bowie Dickey's authentic barbecue."
