Fast Casual: Dickey's franchisee-investor team adding 13 locations to Texas, Louisiana

Dickey's Barbecue Pit investors, Rick El Mogazi and Kris Hickingbottom, along with franchisee, Robert Ray, are opening 12 locations between Houston and Louisiana, a news release said.
The group, which opened its first Dickey’s last year in Lake Charles, Louisiana, had already agreed to open 13 locations in its previous agreement.
"When researching franchising concepts, we fell in love with Dickey's business model, great food and explosive brand," Ray said, in the company release. "We are thrilled to open all of our locations and have the opportunity to serve barbecue lovers Dickey’s Texas-style barbecue."
