A Dickey’s Barbecue Pit restaurant is scheduled to open in King George County this week.

A grand opening is scheduled at 11 a.m. Thursday. The restaurant 15411 Dahlgren Road will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.“We are proud to welcome Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, the nation’s largest barbecue chain and a top 10 growth chain in the restaurant industry,” said Ryan Gandy, King George’s director of economic development. “Their family friendly atmosphere and community involvement meshes naturally with the King George community culture.”
