Dickey’s Barbecue Pit locations in Macomb Township, Sterling Heights and Lake Orion will offer half-off to first responders Friday to mark Ed Wenzel taking over ownership of the Macomb Township location.
Dickey’s spokeswoman Callie Head said the company, which has 565 locations nationwide and nine in metro Detroit, regularly raises money for first first responders through its charitable organization, Barbecue Boots & Badges. First responders must wear his or her uniform or display their badge to receive the discount.
The deal will be offered from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. The eateries are located at 20755 Hall Road, at Heydenreich Road, in Macomb Township; 36669 Van Dyke Ave., near Metropolitan Parkway, Sterling Heights and 4761 S. Baldwin Road, near Interstate 75, Lake Orion.
