Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has been family owned and operated by the Dickey family for the past 75 years, and that is what drew Dan and Pam Wood to the brand.  Born and raised in Missouri, the most important thing to the Woods are their two daughters, Lauren and Kaitlyn. In opening their own Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, they hope it will be something they can share with their family for many years to come.

After moving from Nebraska to Florida, the Wood’s saw a need for Texas-style barbecue in their new community. As they have made Florida their home, they hope Bradenton residents find a home in Dickey’s as the go-to fast casual dining option for their families.

“The people of Bradenton have waited patiently for a Dickey’s,” says Pam Wood. “The community is excited about having a place to get authentic, slow-smoked, Texas-style barbecue.”

Residents of Bradenton can find their newest Dickey’s at 4406 53rd Ave. East Bradenton, FL 34203. The phone number is 941-727-4227.
