Beloved barbecue brand opens at 302 Colorado Ave., bringing slow-smoked favorites to the Arkansas Valley community

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, the world’s largest barbecue concept, is now proudly serving its signature slow-smoked meats and homestyle sides in La Junta, Colorado. Located at 302 Colorado Ave., the new restaurant is owned by seasoned Dickey’s franchisee Bobby Rusnak, who continues to grow the brand’s presence in Colorado.
Bobby says his success comes from both his passion for barbecue and his belief in the Dickey’s brand. “It is an honor to continue expanding with a company that stands for quality, community, and authentic Texas flavor,” said Rusnak. “La Junta is a special place and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve guests here and be part of this community’s dining experience.”
