Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Brings Authentic, Slow-smoked Barbecue To Brighton

CO) Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opens in Brighton this Thursday with four weeks of specials and giveaways. Three lucky guests will win free barbecue for a year, available only at the new location. To enter to win, guests can either use hashtag #1FreeYearofBBQ on any social media page, order online or sign up for the Big Yellow Cup Club to receive loyalty points and member-only specials. The new Dickey’s location will also give a special treat to the first 50 guests in the door on Thursday for the next four weeks. On Fridays, the new store will offer 50 percent off meals for uniformed first responders, and guests will have the opportunity to donate to Dickey’s charitable foundation, Barbecue, Boots and Badges.

Thirsty Thursdays—All guests will receive a free Big Yellow Cup with Dickey’s new reusable travel lid and straw. The first 50 guests through the doors will receive a special treat.
Philanthropy Fridays— “You Give, We Give”, guests who donate to Dickey’s charitable foundation, Barbecue, Boots & Badges, will receive a gift card as a thank you for their donation. Uniformed first responders also will receive 50 percent off their meal.
Singer/Songwriter Saturdays—Enjoy live music from a local musician, Lia O’Black.
Kids Eat Free All Day Every Sunday with a $10 dine-in purchase per adult.

Jeffrey and Kristen Hood were born in raised in Colorado, only a few minutes away from Brighton where they have called home for the past 15 years. As experienced business owners, the couple owns a sand transporting business in Colorado. They look forward to breaking into the restaurant industry by joining the Dickey’s family. “We cannot wait to serve residents of our community delicious, slow-smoked barbecue,” says Kristen Hood. “The area is growing quickly and we are happy to be the go-to barbecue option for the great people of Brighton!”
