Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is nothing new to Bill Zimmerman, as this will be his second Dickey’s location to open. After spending 22 years in the truck leasing business Zimmerman decided it was time to own a business of his own and fell in love with Dickey’s delicious food and great atmosphere. Zimmerman and the store’s General Manager Colin Robin are excited to open their new location in Gurnee and bring a new option of slow-smoked, Texas-style barbecue to their community. “The people of Gurnee, like me, love delicious, slow-smoked barbecue and I am excited to have the opportunity to serve them just that,” says Zimmerman.

Residents of Gurnee can find their newest Dickey’s location at 6681 Grand Ave., Suite A-1 Gurnee, IL 60031. The phone number is 847-596-7290.
