grand opening Thursday with four weeks of fun, including free barbecue for a year for three lucky guests


 


(Dothan, AL) Dickey’s Barbecue Pit will open its newest location in Dothan with four weeks of giveaways and delicious specials to celebrate starting this Thursday. Three lucky guests will win free barbecue for a year at the new Dothan location. Guests can enter to win using hashtag #1FreeYearofBBQ on any social media page, by ordering online or signing up for the Big Yellow Cup Club to receive special offers and loyalty points which can be redeemed for free barbecue.

“Dickey’s is proud to open our eighth location in Alabama,” says Roland Dickey, Jr., CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “We congratulate Owner/Operator Greg Smith on his grand opening this weekend.”


 


Doors open this Thursday and guests can enjoy the grand opening events over the next four weeks:


Thirsty Thursdays – All guests will receive a free Big Yellow Cup with Dickey’s new reusable travel lid and straw.  The first 50 guests will receive a taste of Dickey’s butcher taco of the month, the Sriracha chicken taco.


 


Philanthropy Fridays – “You Give, We Give”, guests who donate to Dickey’s charitable foundation, Barbecue, Boots & Badges, will receive a gift card. Uniformed first responders also receive 50 percent off their meal.


 


Singer/Songwriter Saturdays – Enjoy live music from a local musician.


 


Kids Eat Free All Day Every Sunday (with dine-in purchase of an adult meal)        


 


Army veteran Greg Smith is not a stranger to great leadership, with experience leading teams both in his military service and at a nuclear power plant. As the owner of a Subway franchise nearby, Smith was attracted to Dickey’s by its quality product and ongoing support for franchisees. “I am excited to serve the residents of Dothan authentic, Texas-style barbecue,” Smith says. “Dothan has a lot of great dining options, and I look forward to providing a family-friendly restaurant that serves excellent food with great service.
