Founder of Texas-style Slow Smoked Barbecue to Make a ‘Pit Stop’ in San Jose Region

(San Jose, CA) Barbecue expert and founder of Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, Roland Dickey Sr., will be in San Jose and surrounding areas August 11 and 12. Thirteen area stores will take part in the guest appreciation events with special barbecue offers for guests from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. both days. At each visit, Mr. Dickey will also autograph and give away 100 copies of his famous Mr. Dickey’s Barbecue Cookbook, full of great Dickey family recipes sure to be a hit.

 

 

Mr. Dickey will hold a guest appreciation event at 3835 E. Castro Valley Blvd. in Castro Valley on August 11, followed by an event on August 12 at 1255 S. Mary Ave. in Sunnyvale. All 13 Dickey’s stores in the area will feature $2 pulled pork sandwiches as part of our guest appreciation events both days, and one lucky winner will receive free barbecue for an entire year!
