Three Day Barbecue Bonanza Kicks off Thursday at New Dickey’s Barbecue Pit

(Morgantown, WV) Morgantown residents can battle the winter with slow smoked Texas barbecue when Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opens on Thursday, March 12 at 11 a.m. Local owner, Randy Miller opens the new fast casual option in his hometown with a three day grand opening. The party kicks off with first 50 guests receiving gift cards worth up to $50.

“Our meats are smoked overnight in each of our restaurants and our home-style sides like our baked potato casserole are the perfect meal for a cold day,” said Roland Dickey, Jr., CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “I’m thrilled to open this new location in Morgantown and look forward to becoming a part of this great community.”

Friday, Dickey’s Barbecue will have all day merchandise giveaways. Saturday, station 93.1 WFGM will be on-site from noon to 2 p.m. when one lucky winner will win a $500 gift card and three winners receive free barbecue for an entire year. Partygoers can score a deal with $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches.

“I know the residents are going to love what we offer including the great service and value,” said multi-unit owner, Randy Miller. “Catering is going to be a big hit too – we offer different price points and there’s nothing like a party with authentic barbecue.”
