(Huntsville, AL) Larry Hoffmeister discovered Dickey’s Barbecue Pit’s slow smoked brisket during business trips to Texas and it immediately became a favorite. On Thursday, August 21 at 11 a.m., Hoffmeister will bring his favorite barbecue joint, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit to Huntsville. To kick-off the new location, Dickey’s is throwing a three-day grand opening celebration.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Opens in Hometown of Army Engineer

(Aurora, CO) On Friday, August 22 Dickey’s Barbecue’s lead chef and chairman, Roland Dickey, Sr. is celebrating barbecue lovers in Aurora with a Guest Appreciation Event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Aurora location. The entire Dickey's family is saddened by the events that occurred in Utah and takes this incident very seriously. We are keeping the entire Harding family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.&nbsp; 
 
We would like to reassure the public that this was an isolated incident in South Jordan, Utah. Nothing like this has occurred in the 73 years we have operated. There is nothing more important to us than the trust and safety of our guests. The independent owner of the South Jordan location is deeply saddened by this incident; he is fully cooperating with authorities as they investigate how this tragic event occurred. The health inspector was called to the location during the incident and the store passed all requirements to remain open. The incident is still under investigation.

(Tupelo, MS) Marty Ballard and Jason Ellis have similar stories. They were both born in Mississippi and got their start at Pepsi in Tupelo. Following their time at Pepsi, they both went to work with the Little Caesars franchise.
