World’s largest barbecue concept now offering Brisket Chili Walking Taco for a limited time
 
DALLAS (Dec. 15, 2021) – Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is putting its one-of-a-kind pitmaster touch onto the newest food craze — the walking taco!

The iconic barbecue brand has combined its fan-favorite Brisket Chili with Fritos® to create the Brisket Chili Walking Taco, a delicious crowd-pleaser that you can’t find anywhere else. This trendy take on the traditional Frito Pie, with Dickey’s smoked brisket chili, will be available through the end of February.

Dickey’s Adds Its Texas-Twist to the Walking Taco

Texas-style barbecue restaurant signs development agreement to add five more locations
 
DALLAS (Dec. 6, 2021) – [Dickey’s Barbecue Pit](https://www.dickeys.com/) is growing at a rapid pace as the world’s largest barbecue franchise continues its development push in the Northeast.
 
Dickey’s announced today that the company has signed a multi-unit area development agreement with Prosper Food Corporation. CEO and President John Malinconico led the negotiations for Prosper Food and recently signed the agreement to develop five Dickey’s multi-unit franchise locations over the next seven years. Malinconico is an accomplished entrepreneur with a background as a Commercial Banker/Underwriter. Prosper Food purchased its first existing Dickey’s location back in October in [Centereach, N.Y.](https://www.dickeys.com/locations/new-york/centereach/suffolk-centereach) The company also has plans to develop another four variations of Dickey’s throughout Suffolk County, N.Y.

Dickey’s Executes Multi-Unit Franchise Deal in Suffolk County, N.Y. 

Grant will provide new radio and communication equipment

The Dickey Foundation, the nonprofit arm of Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, awards grants to provide first responders with critical personal protective equipment (PPE), safety gear and equipment they need to help make their job easier and, more importantly, safer.

The Dickey Foundation Awards Grant to Wortham Police Department

Grants will provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to first responders of Florida

DALLAS (Nov. 30, 2021) – The Dickey Foundation, the nonprofit arm of Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, awards grants to provide first responders with critical protective equipment and safety gear they need to help make their job easier and, more importantly, safer.

On Tuesday, November 30 at 11:30 a.m. the Dickey Foundation along with local Owner/Operator Wendy Williams will award the Midway Fire Department with 5 sets of bunker gear. This will take place at the Dickey’s Gulf Breeze location (1480 Tiger Park Lane, Shop C, Gulf Breeze, FL).

Additionally, on Wednesday, December 1 at 11:30 a.m. the Dickey Foundation along with local Owner/Operator Sam Zaghariet will award the Panama City Beach Police Department with 7 sets of protective armor for 7 of their female patrol officers. This will take place at the Panama City Beach Police Department (17115 Panama City Beach Pkwy., Panama City Beach, FL).

The Dickey Foundation Awards Grant to Napa Fire Department 


[Dickey’s Barbecue Pit ](www.dickeys.com) is bringing its Legit. Texas. Barbecue.™ to select locations across North America and Canada through a partnership with Ghost Kitchen Brands. 
 
Dickeys announced today that the Texas-style barbecue brand is teaming up with Toronto based Ghost Kitchen Brands to serve its iconic meats and southern sides through the satellite pickup and delivery service. 
 
Dickey’s joins a stacked lineup of other brands such as Cinnabon, Quizno’s, Nathan’s Famous, Shaquille O’Neal’s Big Chicken and more that are now available to order at the first U.S. Ghost Kitchen counter in a Walmart store in New York state.  Dickey’s will soon be serving in two U.S. locations in November and over 100 locations in the U.S. and existing locations in Canada.

Dickey’s Partners with Ghost Kitchen Brands to Launch in over 100 Locations

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is now offering full bar service and bar menu. The brand launched a completely revised Bar Program.  The enhanced Bar Program now offers an extensive line of standard drinks, beers, and wines along with 7 new, exciting signature drinks that have special ties to the Dickey’s Brand and story.  
The Worlds Largest Barbecue concept is going back to its roots which were established in 1941 when a small barbecue stand sold barbecue sandwiches and ice-cold beer. The newly designed beverage ingredients give a nod to the Dickey family with Tres Generations Margarita – featuring Tres Generations Reposado with a nod to the third generation of Dickey’s family leadership that is celebrating its 80th anniversary!   
“We started by looking at what people drink while making barbecue in their back yard. We discovered top of the list were cold beer, lemonade, sweet tea, moonshine, and whiskey. We used these staples to curate our bar menu” says Dan Timm, the Beverage Director for Dickey’s Barbecue Pit.
Some of the new beverages include:  
•	Hickory Old Fashioned – bringing the smoke without fire to our bar guests.
•	Bourbon Cheery Fizz – featuring Balcones bourbon from Waco, TX. 
•	Double Lemon Drop – crafted with homemade vodka lemonade.
•	Peach Tea – featuring Dickey’s famous Sweet Tea with peach whiskey.
•	Blackberry Lemonade – crowd favorite with a strong kick from blackberry moonshine.
 
Moving forward, all new Dickey’s Barbecue Pit owners and operators will have a full-service bar or beverage tub or cooler. Existing restaurants have the option to add bar service. David and Ashley Boisture are one of the longest standing Owner/Operators who are also the 5th grossing restaurant out of the nearly 600 Dickey’s locations located in Arlington, Texas. They just completed construction on a brand-new bar and outdoor patio. “We are celebrating our 20th Anniversary with Dickey’s Barbecue Pit and are happy to have this offering for our guests” says Boisture who added the bar to his existing location. “We are fortunate that we have a large space and we had an area that wasn’t being utilized so we built a bar that extends out to our new patio” adds Boisture who is now ready for prime patio season in Texas. 
Boisture is just getting started with promoting his bar but says the incentive to be able to up his profit margins while encouraging guests to stay a while is what he and Ashley envision.  Dan Timm worked on his beverage menu and Chef Phil created a bar menu that pairs well with the beverage flavor profiles.  
Timm estimates that Owner Operators will see an increase of 10-15% in sales by selling alcohol. “People like to go in and sit and have a beverage then order their food, and order another drink while they wait” says Timm.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the world’s largest barbecue concept’s signature Big Yellow Cup will become pink. Throughout the month, Dickey’s will offer the 32-ounce limited-edition collectible Tribute Cup for purchase in all of its locations across the U.S.
 
A portion of the proceeds from every charitable cup sold will be donated to The Dickey Foundation, which provides safety equipment and overall support for first responders. The Dickey Foundation will use the funds raised from the collectible Pink Big Yellow Cup to provide mammograms and other breast cancer detection, treatment and services for local first responders.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Brings Back Pink Big Yellow Cup to Support Breast Cancer Awareness


The Texas-style barbecue brand is proud to announce 15 additional locations opening in Singapore. Mavin Singh and his business partner Ang (Ding) Yen are opening the additional locations over 10 years.  
 
The additional locations come after Mavin Singh opened a Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Ghost Kitchen nine months ago, and he met Ang (Ding) Yen while the two shared adjacent stalls in the same ghost kitchen in the central business district in Singapore.  
 
“Barbecue is a unique delicacy and has been so well received here in Singapore” says Singh. 
  
“Our partnership is very exciting; we complement each other with our backgrounds and our determination and energy.” Says Yen. The complimentary skill set and growing friendship with both men and their wives is also key to the success of introducing barbecue to Singapore.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Expands in Singapore

Committed to bringing Legit. Texas. Barbecue.™ to markets around the globe, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit's fast-paced growth momentum has driven the world’s largest barbecue concept to expand it’s global footprint in the third quarter. 
 
In Q3 alone, Dickey’s opened 16 locations, 14 of which were domestic and two were international. The Texas-style barbecue brand made its Sao Paulo debut, marking Dickey’s first South American restaurant with 110 total planned for Brazil in the coming years. Dickey’s also opened its second Tokyo location in Yoyogi. 
 
Along with Dickey’s Barbecue Pit’s openings, Dickey’s Restaurant Brands increased its virtual footprint across the country with the addition of 23 locations implementing Wing Boss and 11 locations adding Big Deal Burger for delivery only. Additionally, Wing Boss opened its first-ever brick-and-mortar restaurant in Addison, Texas in Q3. 
 
Sales were also a highlight with same store sales increasing 5.5% from 2020 and Total Store Sales increasing 7.9%

Dickey’s Shows Continued International Growth and Notable Q3 Performance The world’s largest barbecue concept is continuing to experience strong brand growth with three new global franchise commitments

Cockrell Hill, Texas (October 12, 2021) – The Dickey Foundation, the nonprofit arm of Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, awards grants to provide first responders with critical protective equipment and safety gear they need to help make their job easier and, more importantly, safer. 

On Tuesday, October 12th at 6:30 p.m. the Dickey Foundation Board Chair Maurine Dickey and the Dallas County Commissioner Elba Garcia will award a grant at the Cockrell Hill City Council Meeting (City Hall, 4125 W. Clarendon, Cockrell Hill, Texas 75211)

The grant which is a joint effort between The Dickey Foundation and Dallas County Commissioner Elba Garcia will provide necessary communications equipment for the Cockrell Hill Fire Department.

The Dickey Foundation Awards Grant to Cockrell Hill Fire Department Grant will help provide necessary communications equipment

On Wednesday, Oct. 20, from 5 p.m. to close, the world’s largest barbecue concept will host Mr. Dickey’s Dollar Dinner Party where it all started – the original Dickey’s restaurant at 4610 N. Central Expressway in Dallas. Mr. Dickey will attend the customer appreciation event and meet guests, sign cookbooks and offer a pre-sale for Dickey’s newest cookbook coming out later this year! 
 
Mr. Dickey’s Dollar Dinner Party will celebrate with $1 Pulled Pork Sandwiches and $1 Lone Star Beer from 5 p.m. to close. The special is available only at the original location in Dallas on Central Expressway and Henderson Ave, for dine in or pick up. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit’s Retail Line is Rapidly Expanding Nationwide

Dickeys announced today that its newest location to open is in Sao Paulo, the country’s largest city, with a population of 12 million.  
 
Owner Operators Bruno Gallucci and Cyro Pires Xavier are partners with a vast entrepreneurial background and have more than a decade of experience in restaurant operations and agricultural productions. The partners have full franchising rights for Brazil and are slated to open a total of 110 locations in Brazil. “We are very excited to show the people of Brazil the wonderful Texas Barbecue, this is unlike anything they have tried before” says Bruno Gallucci who adds that the food along with the location of the flagship restaurant are a recipe for success.  “We are located in the heart of the city with plenty of foot traffic and many businesses” says Gallucci who says the restaurant is off Paulista Avenue.

This location was expected to open a year ago but was postponed due to COVID-19. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Opens in Brazil

The world’s largest barbecue franchise opens its second location in Yoyogi, Tokyo serving Legit. Texas. Barbecue.™ 

[Dickey's Barbecue Pit ](https://www.dickeys.com)partnered with Sunsheng (Jason) Lin, owner of Japan Barbecue Franchise Company (JBFC) Co., LTD to open its first Japan location in the Kamiosaki District in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo in May of 2021. Now the second location in Yoyoji a neighborhood in the northern part of Shibuya, Tokyo Japan is open.  The second location has limited seating with carry out, delivery and approximately 602 square feet. 

“We are thrilled for the second Dickey’s Japan restaurant to open,” said Roland Dickey Jr., CEO of Dickey's Capital Group. “Working with Jason enables us to continue driving our international expansion efforts and rapidly grow as the world’s largest barbecue concept.
